Lemmings

I decided to work on more modules Monday evening, so I could attempt to finish the Enemies section. I almost achieved that goal…until I realized that my enemies were lemmings- when one was destroyed, they both were destroyed.

Everybody’s doing it.

My first thought was that the “Apply All” feature in the inspector was to blame. My second thought was that I need to go to sleep. My third thought was that perhaps I needed to move the original enemy, because if the initial position being spawned from within the player’s position, it would destroy as soon as I hit “Play” and would destroy before having a chance to appear…thus, giving the “illusion” of being a lemming. I decided that I wouldn’t try to figure this out right now, because it is quite late and I have developed a horrible habit of staying up late. Once I hit that snag, I didn’t spend any time trying to debug. I decided immediately to wrap up my coding for the day, get a good night’s sleep and be refreshed and alert for tomorrow. I will review my code and start debugging asap tomorrow after my regularly scheduled start. It’s for the best. I cluttered mind writes cluttered code. I made that part up- I have no idea. Thus, for Monday 2.0’s report- I will cut this short. Goodnight.
