Always starting my day with big ambitions I got a lot accomplished today: I broke my code several times and restored most of it several times😛. The “restored” part is the most important thing. We love all the wins here at Kristin the Developer🥰. For example, I learned that one should be very careful copy sprites for external modification, lest you delete every component to which the aforementioned sprite was ever connected. On the positive side, it was a good chance for me to reinforce animation creation and altering conditions within the animator. When we last left off, I just learned the techniques that I wanted to focus on for the new “regular” enemy(let’s call them the old skool enemy for simplicity’s sake) brand new movement using the ping pong function. I also created a new green enemy, know as “Twinemy.” Twinemy is definitely quirky right now…

Twinemy has a rock that supposed to be heat seeking…But at least it can make green flames

Right now, it’s either no pingpong or that😐. I also learned today about a feature call “MoveTowards,” in which you can name a target and call an object to move toward the defined target. I’m going to contintue working on this once I debug Twinemy. Still some bugs, but I think I understand the overall logic of what I’m doing. That syntax is getting me- I just have to practice and get used to code. I’m trusting in the process and I have faith that it’s these very experiences that are going to most pivotal in making an excellent coder. That said, I’m going to reach out for help tomorrow😂.

Positive Affirmation: Coding C# and Unity come easily and effortlessly to me, that I can understand it quickly, teach it to anyone and create anything I want. I think of new, fun, creative, expressive, unique ideas easily and am inspired by the universe. Coding is fun, relaxing and extremely enjoyable for me.

Stay well friends,

Kristin
